Sterling Collectibles is a broker of coins, coin rolls, bullion, and more! We are located in New Jersey, United States. Although we are long-time sellers on eBay we are branching out with our new website to provide a better experience for our customers. At Sterling Collectibles we try to offer the best prices, the best customer service, and the best products!

We have received some very positive feedback about our coin rolls, although an experienced coin roll hunter understands that coin rolls are not a guarantee. Most auctions begin below the cost of scrap metal becuase we CANNOT guarantee what coins are inside.

We try to provide as much information about these rolls as possible and are always willing to work with our customers.

Our Policies

Coin conditions: 
All coin rolls are ungraded. 

All rolls are weighed prior to shipping to verify all silver coins are 90% silver and that the rolls have not been tampered with. View pictures for the weight of rolls.

We can only see the FRONT and BACK coins, so we take as many pictures as possible to give an accurate description of the item. 

If you have questions or concerns, contact us via email BEFORE buying. We are happy to answer questions. We absolutely DO NOT accept returns or grant refunds for OPENED or BROKEN rolls.

Please, carefully review the photos before buying!  We take as many pictures as possible in order to give an accurate description of the coin rolls. We are NOT a grading service and we do NOT know what coins are inside the unopened rolls. There is no way for us to tell if the coins are scratched, cleaned/uncleaned, dented, or mint marks. These coin rolls have not been opened; therefore, there is no way for us to guarantee that every coin is the same.

ANY mint marks, conditions, dates, and cleaned or uncleaned coins should be expected!

Buyers will receive the specific coin roll that is pictured in each listing. We photograph each individual roll and you are guaranteed the roll that is pictured in the listing.

Titles:
The title is an estimate of what the end coins could be based on what is visible to us. All of the coins in each roll could have dings, dents, scratches, scuff marks, or could be cleaned or uncleaned, DMPL or PL or NOT. ANY and ALL mint marks and dates should be expected in unopened rolls. 

Payment: 
At this time, we are only accepting credit and debit card payments through our website.

Shipping: 
All items are carefully packaged and shipped within FIVE BUSINESS DAYS (this does not include weekends or holidays) of cleared payment, or we will notify you otherwise. We only ship three days a week, but everything goes out within 5 business days of cleared payment. 

Currently, we only ship in the U.S.

Proxy Bidding:
Proxy bidding is a new feature that enables automatic bidding on our auction items. Please keep in mind that when you enter your bid you are entering your maximum bid and the computer will bid in increments based on the current highest bid.

Our automatic bidding system makes bidding convenient so you don’t have to keep coming back to re-bid every time someone places another bid. When you place a bid, you enter the maximum amount you’re willing to pay for the item. The seller and other bidders won’t know your maximum bid. We’ll place bids on your behalf using the automatic bid increment amount, which is based on the current high bid. We’ll bid only as much as necessary to make sure that you remain the high bidder or to meet the reserve price, up to your maximum amount.

A soft close prevents individuals from entering a bid at the very last second before an auction closes with the intent to prevent others from bidding higher.

Our soft close feature ensures bidding is fair for all. In the closing moments of an auction, if a bid is placed during the last few minutes on an item, it will extend the bidding for that item for an additional few minutes. This is similar to a live auction, during which the bidding will continue as long as bidders increase the bid amounts.

This “Soft Close” mechanism and the “Max Bid” feature were built into the online auction system to build the fairest consumer bidding system possible.

The computer will not bid over your maximum bid. You may notice that an auction extends for a few minutes after the end time, this will only happen if two bidders have maximum bids that haven’t been reached at the end of the auction. If you have questions, please ask! We’re happy to help!

Important: We are NOT a grading service and we do NOT know what coins are inside unopened rolls. There is no way for us to tell if the coins are scratched, cleaned/uncleaned, dented, or what mint marks/dates are inside. ANY mint marks, conditions, dates, and cleaned or uncleaned coins should be expected!

RETURNS: We absolutely DO NOT accept returns or grant refunds for OPENED or BROKEN rolls. Please carefully review our return policy on Our Policies page.

CONDITIONS: All coin rolls have been unopened by us. The wrappers are so old and delicate that it would be impossible for us to open them without damaging the wrappers.

All dollar rolls are weighed prior to shipping to verify all silver coins are 90% silver to make sure rolls have not been tampered with over the past decades. View pictures for the weight of each roll.

RESERVE PRICES: Some of our auctions have a reserve price, which will be noted above. If a reserve price is not met then the item will not sell.

RETURN/REFUNDS POLICY. Buyers have 30 days once the item(s) is delivered to return items that qualify for a refund (except for bullion). If you would like to request a return/refund, please contact us via our contact form detailing the return request. Requesting a return via email may take 1-2 business days.

We are happy to work with our customers when returning unopened, undamaged coin rolls and individual coins.

Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs, such as packaging and shipping labels.

There is a %20 restocking fee that will be charged in cases of excessive returns, such as purchasing over $10,000 worth of items and returning them without reason, routinely purchasing items and returning them without reason, or attempting to return a broken or opened roll.

We do not accept bullion returns. All bullion sales are final due to the fluctuating value of silver and gold. All sale items are final.
